Beth Thompson Williams

January 27, 1932 — February 28, 2025

Perry

I, Beth Williams (Thompson) wrote my own obituary. My life began on a snowy winter day, January 27, 1932. My mother, in labor with me, traveled from Clarkston to Trenton by horse drawn sleigh. Once there I traveled, by car, to Logan, where I was born.

I was raised in Clarkston, UT, with my 2 sisters and brother. I had farm chores to do, complaining all the while I was working? I worked later in life as a business owner with husband Vinson and my brother and sister in-law, Dave and Beth (I called her “little Beth”). I also drove a school bus in Kemmerer, Wyoming and was a store clerk in Gallatin Gateway, Montana. Best of all, I was a loving wife and mother to my four wonderful children! I love you all so much!

Once I retired, I enjoyed bowling, golf and especially tending to my yard and gardens of beautiful flowers. I also enjoyed the many hummingbirds who visited the sugar feeder and watching “Jazz” basketball and working on my “Happy Color” on my computer tablet.

I am preceded in death by Vinson, my husband, parents Glen and Melba Thompson and my older sister Shirleen Clark.

I am survived by my sister Venna (husband Kenny), and my brother Norman. My loving children Jeff (wife LaRae), Michael, daughters Janet (husband Russell) and Susan (husband Doug), and of course all of my grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

I leave knowing that I love you all dearly. Enjoy your life to come!

Also, thank you to my friends and neighbors for your support throughout the years. Thank you to my “Garbage” buddies, on Tuesday, Dennis and Helen Lee.

I have asked for a simple graveside service with family. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.

Care entrusted to Gillies Funeral Chapel.
