Bobbie Mcneely

BRIGHAM CITY - Our loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Bobbie Merin McNeely, 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at his home in Brigham City. He was born on May 23, 1937 in Rupert, Idaho, a son of James Robert and Izora Merritt McNeely. He graduated from Minidoka High School. Bob married his sweetheart, Betty Braegger in the Logan LDS Temple on December 5, 1958. He was a member of the Brigham City Central LDS Ward where he served in various callings. Bob was a worthy servant and loved His Heavenly Father. Bob loved to go fishing, camping and being with his family. Surviving is his wife, Betty; five children; Diana (Terry) Mellies; Wendy (Rick) Rochelle; Kevin (Shanna) McNeely; Bruce (Kim) McNeely; Brandon McNeely; 21 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson; three siblings, Dennis McNeely; Ellen Green; Terry McNeely. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and four sisters. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Brigham City Central Ward Chapel, 506 South 200 East. Viewings will be held on Sunday, Apr 8th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, and on Monday at the church from 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. Interment will be in the Willard City Cemetery.
