Our loving son, brother, grandson, Carter James Virgil Thompson, 22, passed away in his sleep Tuesday morning, September 13, 2022.
He was born on August 9, 2000 in Murray, Utah, a son of Troy John Pangburn Thompson and JeuneElle Fuller.
Carter attended Box Elder High School and was studying to become a Journeyman Electrician at Davis Technical College, He was working as a fourth year Electrical Apprentice.
Carter loved his car, camping, snowboarding, skateboarding, Disneyland, his cat Kit, his friends and family. He enjoyed listening to books while he worked and had a great love for the Harry Potter Series and The Lord of The Rings. He loved movies and music. Carter lived his life in extremes, which wrecked havoc on his physical and mental health. He enjoyed debating and discussing the mysteries of life. He was generous, giving the coat off his back to the person in need. He was cherished and loved by friends and family alike.
Surviving are his parents, Troy (Laurel) Thompson; JeuneElle (Dave) Jeffries, one brother, Cass Thompson; one sister, McKenzee Jeffries, his son Zayken and his grandparents, Jim and Marilyn Fuller. He was also survived by many aunts, uncle and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gary Thompson and Jane Thompson and his cousin Michael Pruitt.
Memorial gathering will be held at Ft. Buenaventura State Park, 2450 A Avenue, Ogden, Utah 84402 on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 4:00 pm with a celebration to follow at 6:00 pm for friends and family.
