Perry- Our loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, Denice Witt, 71, passed away surrounded by family, on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Ogden Regional Medical Center.
She was born on September 27, 1946 in Brigham City, Utah, a daughter of E. Bernice Tucker and Douglas Orchard.
Denice graduated from Box Elder High School in 1964. She then attended Weber College.
Denice married her sweetheart, Francis William Witt, Jr., on September 12, 1969 in Brigham City, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple in 1976.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Denice loved gardening, movies, shopping, sewing, gambling, spoiling her grandkids, lunches with her friends, attending the temple and seeing the Bar J wranglers. Above all she loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are her six children: Keith Witt, Gregg Witt, April (Jeff) Sidwell, Jami (Patrick) Spencer, Sheri (Max) Coffman, Adam (Jocelin) Witt; and 12 grandchildren; one sibling, Brent Orchard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers, Douglas & Keith Orchard.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 11:00am at the Perry 3rd Ward, 730 West 2950 South, Perry, Utah.
Viewings will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, Utah, from 6-8pm and again on Saturday at the church from 10-10:40am.
Interment will be in the Willard City Cemetery.
