Dwane Burden

October 31, 1958 — July 24, 2022

On July 24, 2022 loving Husband, Father, Grandpa, Son, Brother, and Friend Dwane O. Burden passed away from Medical Issues. Dwane was born in Ogden Utah to Bruce Harvey Burden and Ruth Bisel Burden. Dwane graduated from Granger High School where he played on the football team and also ran cross country and track. In 1978 Dwane served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Louisiana. In 1980 he married the love of his life Konnie Page Burden. They were sealed for time and all eternity in 1981. Together they had 3 children and 7 grandchildren. He worked at Kimberly-Clark making Huggies Diapers as a Operator Technician. Dwane enjoyed outdoor activities like camping, fishing, and canoeing. He liked metal detecting, Mountain Men rendezvous, guns, ATV’s, Paintball, trucks, hunting, and dogs. Dwane was very patriotic and loved his country. His favorite past time was his grandkids. Dwane enjoyed serving in the scouts and as an Elders Quorum President for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Dwane loved his Savior and he had a testimony of the Gospel. Dwane would serve his neighbors by plowing snow out of their driveways. Dwane was preceded by his father Bruce Harvey Burden, his stepdad Jay Lopez, and his brother Paul Pace. Dwane was survived by his wife Konnie Burden, mother Ruth Bisel Lopez, step mother Nedra Burden, sister Donna Jensen, and brothers Kelly Burden and Bryan Burden; his children Kasey Anglesey, Jonathan (Kandi) Burden, and Jamie (Justin) Tuveson; his grandchildren Gage Anglesey, Brayden Anglesey, Blade Burden, Jaquel Burden, Dylan Tuveson, Devon Tuveson, and Daxen Tuveson. A viewing will be held Thursday, July 28 at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham from 6-8pm. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at the Willard Cemetery.
