Eugene L Craner

Tremonton – Our loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Eugene L Craner, 91, passed away in Yuma, Arizona from complications of heart failure.

He was born on January 29, 1933 in Oakley, Idaho, a son of John Albert and Laura Lundy Craner. Following graduation, he served in the United Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

After returning from the Air Force, he met his wife, Irene Singleton, from this union they had four children, Gary, Lisa, Patricia and Kathryn. Eugene was later divorced from Irene.

He worked and retired as a truck driver for Big J Milling in Brigham City delivering wheat and flour throughout the community.

Eugene loved fishing, hunting, riding horses, loved being a cowboy and enjoyed being part of the outdoors.

Surviving are his three children, Gary Craner of Tremonton, Utah; Lisa Tasso of Brigham City and Patricia Vigil of Brigham City. He has many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Kathryn Craner on July 29, 2009.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025 at 1:00 pm, Brigham City Cemetery, 495 E 500 S.

A viewing will be held from 11:30 to 12:30 pm at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 E 200 S., Brigham City, Utah, where military honors will be accorded by the Combined Veterans of Box Elder Honor Guard.
