Eugene J. Henrie, also known as Gene, was a man of exceptional character. Born on November 13, 1968 in Logan, Utah, passed away December 29, 2023 in Brigham City, Utah. Eugene's adventurous spirit was evident from an early age. His love for exploration took him to various locations, including Corinne, Utah; Samaria, Idaho; and Tremonton, Utah, before finally settling in Brigham City. His life was filled with laughter and joy, and his funny anecdotes kept everyone around him entertained.
Gene spent much of his life on the open road, dedicating over two decades as a reliable and dedicated truck driver. He had a profound love for the outdoors, frequently engaging in hunting, fishing, and hiking. His explorations were not limited to the wilderness; Gene had a unique fondness for ghost towns and abandoned mines, often sharing captivating tales of his discoveries. His sense of adventure was only rivaled by his love for his family, who always remained at the center of his world.
Gene is survived by his mother, Sharon Henrie; significant other, Debra Wilde-Henrie; siblings , Saundra (Steve) Horne, Ray (Kathy) Henrie and Teresa Henrie-Allen; children with Roberta Nelson, Natalie Henrie, Courtney Henrie, and Robert (Chyanne) Henrie. He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Henrie.
