Glen Charles Langford
1957 ~ 2023
Glen Charles Langford, 66, of Brigham City Utah, passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 22, 2023, after kissing his wife goodnight.
Glen was born on January 30, 1957 to Ivins “Ike” Alldredge and Maxine Iola Sanders Langford in Phoenix, Arizona. After graduating from Cortez High School in 1975, he served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Florida Tallahassee Mission.
He married his eternal companion, Carol Ann Maldonado, January 13, 1979 in the Mesa Arizona Temple.
Employed by the U.S. Postal Service, Glen began as a letter carrier. Advancing in his career, he and his family relocated to Cottonwood, Arizona and then Bloomfield, New Mexico. After retiring as Postmaster in 2018, he and Carol moved to Brigham City, Utah, to be close to family and enjoy their retirement.
Glen loved being in nature and could often be found hiking, kayaking, camping, scouting, and viewing wildlife. He found joy in sharing meals and cooking, even working at the local junior high as a "lunch-lady" after retirement. An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, he faithfully served in various callings, including Bishop Counselor at 22, Bishop at 27, Stake High Councilor, Stake Executive Secretary, Service Missionary, and Primary Teacher. Beyond formal church callings, he consistently serviced his fellow men, whether shoveling snow or at the cannery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests performing a kind deed for neighbors, friends, or strangers, such as shoveling snow, sharing a meal, or any other service in memory of Glen.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Christiann Langford Corrington and his parents. Surviving him is his loving wife of 44 years, Carol Langford, his children Elizabeth (Joe) Stanger; Adam (Rachel) Langford; Jorden Langford; Jeremy (Sierra Allen) Langford; 10 grandchildren, Ryann Shumway, Tanner Shumway, Ellie Stanger, Mia Stanger, Benjamin Stanger, Zackary Stanger, Jane Langford, Calvin Glen Langford, Gwen Langford, and Grant Langford. Also surviving are his siblings Dan Langford; Janet (Gary) Tieman; Jayme Langford; Diann (Karl) Jones; and Greg (Staci) Langford and his best friend, Paul (Leilene) Tieman.

Viewing will be held prior to the services from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at the church.
