BRIGHAM CITY - Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend, Grace Forsgren Nelson, 91, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born on March 30, 1927 in Bothwell, Utah, a daughter of Leonidus and Bessie Mae Burden Forsgren.
Grace married Darrell Nelson on February 26, 1946 in the Logan LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on December 31, 2006.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she held various callings throughout her life.
Grace and her husband, Darrell owned and operated Darrell's Tru Value store here in Brigham City, retiring from the business in 2004.
The family would like to thank Hospice for their loving care towards Grace.
Surviving are her six children: Judy (Larry) Kupfer, South Weber; Jackie (Steve) Nelson, Brigham City; Marianne (Jim) Brown, Mendon; Mike (Terri) Nelson; Rodney Nelson and Melanie Nelson all of Brigham City; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Darrell, one son and daughter-in-law, Gordon and Pauli Nelson; son-in-law, Clint Holden, grandson, Cary Wharton and great granddaughters, Jenessa Merril and Everlee Ann Rostron, seven brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City and a viewing will be held prior from 11:00 to 12:10 p.m.
Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
