Born on April 26, 1952, in Brigham City, Utah, to William and Beverly Packer. Jeff was a beacon of light, an embodiment of love and service. In his last 20 years he valiantly lived through physical pain and hardship without loosing or questioning his faith. This is the legacy he has left. His family was his most valued treasure. He loved working with family as he served as President of Anvil Construction/Anvil Cabinet and Mill. His dedication to service extended beyond his profession, as he involved himself in community efforts. His service minded approach was marked by endless hours of leadership in Utah State Parks as Board Chairman, Governors Rural Partnership Board Chairman, Bridgerland ATC Vice Chairman, Box Elder County Education Center where he helped bring the USU Extension to Brigham City, Box Elder County Boys and Girls Club Founders Board, Judicial Nominating Commission, Golden Spike Reenactment Cast Member and Rotary Club Member.
Jeff’s life was not only defined by his service but also by his love for life. He loved spending time with family as an outdoorsman, his hobbies ranging from fishing at Marsh Lake and hunting at Buck Hollow to camping, basketball, and tennis. He earned his Eagle Scout Award in his youth.
