John (Johnny) L. Taylor, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away on May 11, 2023 at his home in Nibley, Utah.

John met Susan Maurer, while working at Brigham Apparel, and they spent the next 53 years happily together. John and Sue married in June of 1970. They were later sealed in the Logan temple for time and all eternity. They had three sons, Jim Lance, Oscar Jared, and Joseph Lee (deceased).
John worked as a sewing machine mechanic at West Coast Industries, Brigham Apparel where he met many life long friends and then Thiokol, where he retired.
John was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in various callings, including Sunday School, being a member of the Bishopric, as well as, the Stake High Council. He loved being a primary teacher. John and Sue also loved serving together for several years in the Logan Temple as ordinance workers. This was his favorite calling.

He enjoyed horse back riding, hunting and old western movies. He had a great sense of humor and loved to tease the grandkids. John was a kind and loving person.
He loved to ride horses. Nothing made him happier than being on his horse riding on a trail in the mountains. As dad got older, he eventually traded the horse in for a Harley. Riding the Harley became his new passion. He went on many bike rides with his son Jimmy.
He endured health problems over the past 4 years but always showed great strength and never gave up. He will always be remembered for his sweet, gentle spirit. His examples and life lessons he has left behind will remain in our hearts forever.
