Our loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Lance D Brimberry, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2020. He was born on August 1, 1972 to Eddie and Bonnie Cherylene Strange Brimberry. Lance was raised in Willard and attended Box Elder High School. He met and married Marie Westmoreland, she had a daughter Monica, who Lance loved and adopted to be his own. Soon they added a beautiful daughter, Mercedes Angel Dean Brimberry. They Later were divorced.
Lance worked on many different dairy farms as a farm hand including the Arnell Wells Farm and Jack's Farm in Willard.
Growing up Lance was very athletic. He raced BMX, motorcross, and was number one in many races. He won a race riding with a broken leg. He was always riding motorbikes with friends in Willard mountains. He loved to climb the 800 hill. Lance would be found doing a wheelies around the blocks on his Honda CR 250. He was a dare devil he loved to have a great time all the time. He always had a great time with the willard boys and talked about his youth often.
Lance loved music, eating late at night snacks, Coke and smokes, blasting music, being a daredevil, jokester, he was always helping the neighbors with anything they needed help with just like his dad, he loved coffee at J&D's, he always stuck up for others at school.
He also loved hunting, deer, elk and pheasants, with his dad and uncles in Willard and Southern Utah. Fishing and swimming was another favorite. He loved fishing with his mom and dad up at Cedar Bay Marina. Above all he loved the time he spent with his family and friends.
Lance was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
He is survived by his daughters, Mercedes (Adrian) Barriga, Monica Dickie; grandbabies, Elli Bonnie, Axel Ephriam and soon to be born, Cecilia Barriga; sisters, Lori (Steve) Anderson, LuAnn Brimberry; nieces, Haley (Nate) Munns, Carley Jensen, Ashley Jensen, Kambrey Jensen, Meranda (Tanner) Hennessey, McKinnlee Roche.
A viewing will be held on Friday, February 21, 2020 at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, from 10:00-11:30 am. A graveside service will be held following the viewing at the Willard Cemetery at 12:00 pm.
The family wishes to thank Willow Glen Nursing Home and Bristol Hospice for the care they gave to Lance. Also a big thanks to everyone who visited him while he was in the Care Center.
