Lydia Tello
Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Lydia Tello, 54, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at her home.
She was born on Wednesday, January 7, 1970 in Brigham City, Utah, a daughter of Roberto and Juanita Pacheco Mendoza.
Lydia attended Box Elder High School and graduated in 1991. Lydia met her sweetheart, Jaime Tello in Tremonton at a 4th of July party. They married on Thursday, December 6, 1984 in Tremonton, Utah.
Lydia worked several years for the Box Elder School District as a teacher in the special needs and ASL program teaching students English. Her favorite profession was being a homemaker and raising her family.
Lydia loved scrap booking, arts and crafts, dancing, she was the most amazing cook, one of her favorite pastimes was shopping, swimming with the grandchildren. Her favorite drink was Pepsi and loved her cat, Blanca. Lydia favorite past time was sleeping in and loved watching Little House on the Prairie.
Surviving is her husband, Jaime; four children: Veronica Tello; David (Brittney) Tello; Dalia ( Robert Garcia) Tello; Martin (Alexis) Tello; 19 grandchildren; three brothers and one sister, Roy Mendoza, Freddy Mendoza, Victor Mendoza and Gloria Solis.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Robert Mendoza.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024 at 11:00 am at St. Henry's Catholic Church, 380 S 200 E., Brigham City, Utah.
Family will meet friends on Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a vigil service to be held at 7:15 pm at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 E 200 S., Brigham City, Utah.
Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
