Margaret Elizabeth Gover (Peggy) passed away on May 27th, 2022, in Logan Utah. She was born November 30, 1930, in Talara, Peru to the late Fred and Beth Gedge of Toronto, Canada. She grew up in Talara and Maracaibo, Venezuela.
She graduated with honors from Moulton College in Toronto and was certified as a stenographer at Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School in New York. She also attended Mexico City College and the Universidad Autonima de Mexico and was a bilingual secretary for Gulf Oil (Mene Grande) and Kermac Drilling in Venezuela.
Peggy married Travis Gover of Foard City, Texas, in San Tome', Eastern Venezuela in 1960.
She taught Sunday School at the Unitarian-Universalist Church in Boulder, Colorado, and was a Cub Scout and Girl Scout Leader. She served as a volunteer ESL Tutor and trainer for the Literacy Council in Las Vegas and Tyler, Texas, as well as tutoring mildly dyslexic children for many years.
Survivors are Blake Gover of Logan, Utah; Melanie Gover of Austin, Texas; Breanna Gover Of Logan.
