Marianna Eliason Keller, 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on Saturday, March 22, 2025,
She was born July 1, 1938, in Hyrum, UT to Vella Nelson Eliason and Charles Ross Eliason Marianna was the devoted wife of Jay Maurice Keller and a loving mother to Susan (Greg) Obray, Maurine (Ken) Quayle, Karen (Randy) Rapp, and Steven (Charlene) Keller.
She was also the grandmother to 13 grandchildren: Brandon Wyatt, Brett (Alexa) Wyatt, Nichole (Josh) Fulgham, Kody (Tressa) Quayle, Joshua (Danni) Quayle, Jared (Lindsey) Quayle, Kevin (Amanda) Rapp, Nathan (Nikole) Rapp, Kaylee (Kyle) Prigmore, Ryan Rapp, Kendra Keller, Jocelyn Keller and JD Keller. 23 Great Grandchildren whom she loves dearly, with another one on the way,
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Jesse Keller, and her great-granddaughter, Leona Rapp.
She was a beloved sister to Myrla Eliason Christensen.
Marianna had a strong work ethic. She worked as an Administrative Assistant at Thiokol and the Bear River Health Department.
Marianna spent her life serving others. A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she dedicated her life to serving in various callings, including Relief Society President, Young Women President, Primary President, and numerous Stake Presidencies. Her faith was at the center of all she did, and she found joy in volunteering, delivering Meals on Wheels, and working in the temple.
A gifted musician, Marianna was a beautiful pianist and organist with a rich alto voice that graced many choirs. She was also talented with her hands, knitting and crocheting countless baby afghans and baby sweaters for loved ones. Her homemade bread was legendary, filling her home with warmth and comfort.
Marianna had a heart full of kindness and was always thinking of others. She was truly beautiful inside and out, leaving a legacy of love, service, and faith.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 28, 2025, at 12:00pm with a viewing from 10:30-11:45am at the Perry Stake Center, 685 W 2250 S in Perry, Utah. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family would like to thank the Dr’s and nurses at Ogden Regional Hospital, the hospice team with Atlas and the nurses at Maple Springs for such tender care of our mother.
The family would also like to thank the members of the Perry 8th ward.
