Marion J. Garman Our loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend, Marion James Garman, 68, passed away on his birthday at the Davis Hospital and Medical Center in Layton, Utah from Covid 19. He was born on November 20, 1954 in Denver, Colorado, a son of John and Ina Ruth Mead Garman. Marion joined the US Air Force in 1972 where he completed his high school diploma. Marion was stationed McConnell Air Force Base in Sacramento, California, then he was transferred to Frankfurt, Germany, to New Mexico retiring in Anchorage, Alaska in 1982, where he had been a Ground Radio Operator. He married his sweetheart, Jackie Goodnight on May 1, 1976 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Marion loved fishing, hunting, and loved his football team the Denver Broncos. His most favorite time was being with his family and he had many adopted kids that love him also. Surviving is his wife, Jackie; four children: Marsha (Sean) Bird; Jeri Garman; James (Mimi) Garman; Toni (Kevin) Garman; 13 grandchildren. four great grandchildren, one half brother, Robert Garman and one-half sister, June Merica, three nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Suzanne and Phyllis. There will be a viewing held on Friday, November 25, 2022 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 E 200 S., Brigham City, Utah. Send condolences to www.gfc-utah.com
