Neva Jasmine Williams Hidalgo, age 86, passed away at her home in Perry, Utah on February 26, 2024
Neva was born on April 19, 1937 in Clarkston, Utah to David E. and Jasmine Godfrey Williams. She loved growing up on her family farm, riding horses and helping her daddy with chores. She was one of eight siblings all preceding her in death, except for Lyle Williams of Mesquite, Nevada. She attended school in Cache Valley and later moved to Brigham City, where she married Nick Warren Hidalgo on June 17, 1958. Nick & Neva raised their family Craig Hidalgo (Kristi), Clarkston, UT; Barry Hidalgo, Samaria Idaho, Lisa Hidalgo Titensor (Jeff) West Haven, UT and Kim Peterson (Steven R.), Nevada, in Brigham City. She has 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
She worked for Thiokol Corp. in Promontory, UT for 25 years. She retired in 1995 to take care of her husband Nick, when he was diagnosed with cancer.
Neva's life revolved around her family and she was dedicated to them. She was the main caretaker of Nick while he was sick, and after his passing in 1998, she took great pride in her independence and maintaining her home and beautiful yard by herself. During her life, she was very determined and overcame any challenge she faced.
At the end of her life, Neva was so grateful for the assistance she received from her family and from her caretakers at Aegis Home Hospice, especially Jody and Brynley, and their entire team.
A graveside service for immediate family will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024 in Clarkston, Utah. In lieu of flowers please donate to Aegis Hospice, Brigham City or your local hospice center. Send condolences to www.gfc-utah.com
