In the words of Douglas Adams, "I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be." This sentiment perfectly captures the life of our beloved Nicholas "Nick" Glen Hill. Born on February 21, 1980, in Brigham City, UT, Nick lived his life with a spirit that was as bright as his welding torch. His contagious laughter and loving nature made him the sunshine in the lives of his family and friends. He had a knack for making everyone around him feel valued, loved, and most importantly, entertained.
Nick was not only a talented welder, but also an artist who found beauty in the most unexpected places. He was a master with pottery, and his pieces were as creative as his soul. Much had a generous heart. His love for the outdoors was evident in his passion for camping and fishing. Taylah's fondest memories are throwing rocks into the river with her dad. Nick loved watching his boys grow up and had a special place in his heart for each of themselves. Nick also loved a good game of poker. He loved playing sports. He would often be found by the grill, surrounded by the laughter of his loved ones. Nick and Amber's crystal collection was a testament to his fascination with the world's natural wonders, and his carpentry skills were evident with a bit of effort and creativity.
Nicholas is survived by his loving wife, Amber Hill, whom he married on the 6th of June, 2015; his parents, Doral (Jenny) Hill and Carla Christensen, mother-in-law, Peggy (David) Fisher; his children, Taylah Hill, Brennin Balls, Colton Balls, and Casey Christensen; and his siblings Ethan (Kelly) Hill, Joey (Melanie) Hill, Tiffany Dennis (Jesse Tarver), Chris Hendersen, Corey (Mandy) Jeppsen and Randy (Mindee) Jeppsen; sister-in-laws, Melissa (David) Gerrard, Mandy Peterson, Amy (Walt) Smith. He will also be deeply missed by many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Farriell Hill, Mary Hill, Jay Christensen, and Pearl Christensen; father-in-law Val A Christensen.

A memorial service to celebrate Nick's life will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 5:00 pm at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South in Brigham City, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the memorial from 3-5 pm at Gillies Funeral Chapel. In the words of Dr. Seuss, “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” As we say goodbye to Nick, let us celebrate the joy he brought into our lives and the memories he left behind.
