Ralph Lynn Wyatt, affectionately known as Lynn by all who knew him, was born on July 27, 1952, in Brigham City, Utah. A beloved son, father, husband, and friend, he passed away on June 8, 2024 after a six week battle from an aggressive cancer. Lynn lived a vibrant life filled with joy, service, and an unyielding love for his family and the outdoors.
Lynn was a proud graduate of Box Elder High School. Lynn married Linda Blake in 1973. They had five children. They later divorced. Lynn married Christine Macfarlane in 1992. They were sealed in the Ogden LDS temple in 2005.
Lynn was an active member of the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints. He faithfully served in many callings during his life. He loved to help and serve those around him and was often found at a neighbor’s house mowing the lawn and providing service. He was a very hard worker and instilled that trait in all his children.
Lynn's love for the outdoors was unparalleled. From hunting, camping, fishing, ATVing, to horseback riding, he reveled in the beauty of nature. He cherished hunting with his son Brad, attending rodeos with Andy, camping with Jo, visiting Lagoon with Leslie, and tending to his yard with Steph.
Lynn loved his yard and went to great lengths to keep it in tip top shape. One of his favorite activities was mowing the lawn.
His occupation as a meat cutter for Associated Foods was more than just a job. It was a career that spanned 52 years, filled with friendships and camaraderie that he valued deeply.
Lynn loved his family and had a large one. When Lynn and Chris married, they combined 10 special blessings together. Lynn wanted all his kids and grandkids to know they were loved. “Tell them I love them and give them a big hug from Grandpa”.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years Christine Wyatt. Children Jen Clark (Dayne), Andrea Holmes (Jeremy), Brad Wyatt (Shawntae), Stephanie Wyatt (Tannon), Leslie Green (Cameron), Lisa Varholy (Michael), Lara Pauley (Stewart Schomburg), Parker Macfarlane (Amber), Amy Simonsen (Brandon), Lindsey Macfarlane (Jeff Dodd), 25 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
