Ricky E. Williams 1961 ~ 2023 Our loving, husband, dad, brother, uncle, and friend, Ricky E. Williams, 62, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 from a heart attack. He was born on January 14, 1961 in Brigham City, Utah, a son of William Claire and Anna Lee Hunsaker Williams. He was raised in Brigham City, Perry and graduated from Box Elder High School in 1979. Rick married his high school sweetheart, Melanie Parsons on February 4, 1981 in the Salt Lake Temple. Rick was the owner and operator of Rick Williams Construction where he built many homes and did numerous remodeling projects. He also worked and retired from Box Elder County as County Building Inspector. Rick loved his family so much, and he loved taking care of his sweetheart. He also loved working with wood, home improvement projects, yard work, football, NASCAR, and he was an all around handyman. Rick enjoyed helping and talking to people. Surviving is his wife, Melanie; three children, Parker, Arielle, and Josiah (Savannah) Williams; five siblings, Jill (Richard) Grover; Roger (Stephanie) Williams; Sandy (Clyde) Wohlgemuth; Kathy Williams; Rand (John Warner) Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claire and Anna Lee Williams, one brother, Ronald Todd Williams, and one sister, Debbie Williams Griffiths. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brigham City Stake Center, 650 Anderson Drive. Family will greet friends on Thursday, Feb. 16th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 E 200 S., Brigham City, Utah. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
