Samantha Merkley

Samantha Anderson Merkley, born August 27, 1975, passed away on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at Ogden Regional Hospital.

Born in Brigham City, UT, to Darlene Miller Anderson and Dwight Anderson. A younger sister to Adrianne Anderson Porter, and Geoffrey Anderson, and older sister to Jordanne Anderson, Samantha spent her childhood in Brigham City. Samantha was married to Ken Merkley on April 15, 1995. She is survived by her two daughters, Madison and Cheighny.

From an early age, Samantha had a love of theatre and performances that followed her throughout her entire life. She starred in countless productions across the state sharing her passion with any willing to listen. She met her husband at an audition and dated while doing shows with him for a year and a half. This love of theatre extended to her children and loved performing with them and costuming shows. Her unmatched talent, charisma, and kindness brought light and joy to every room she entered. She will be dearly missed. A celebration of life will be held January 25th, 2025 at 11:00 am at Gillies Funeral Chapel in Brigham City.
