Scott loved living life too fast and too furious, but for us it was too fast. Scott Dean Leach passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 in Ogden, Utah of cardiac arrest. He was born in Brigham City, Utah, on June 22, 1990, Scott, "Scotty" or "Scooter," as he was affectionately known, was the guy who could charm a room full of strangers with his charismatic wit and infectious personality. His sense of humor was contagious, and his compassionate heart was as vast as the Utah skies he loved so much.
Scott was the self proclaimed favorite child but his most treasured roles were as a father, brother, and friend. He filled his time with his two great loves: his kids, Ayden and Ariya, and making people laugh. He was pursuing his love for standup comedy. He also enjoyed fishing, video games, and golf, but they were all secondary to the joy he found in the mischievous grins of his children. As Dominic Toretto said, "Everyone is looking for a thrill, but what is real is family."
His legacy will be carried on by his loving family; his mother DeLicia, his father Dean, his sisters Jessie, Michelle (Chris), and Jean (Felicia), and his children Ayden and Ariya (stepdaughter) and their mother, Jess Martinez. His family was his pride and joy, and he was theirs. He was a beacon of light, laughter, and love in their lives, and his absence will be deeply felt. But even in his absence, his laughter will echo in the hearts and minds of all who knew him, serving as a reminder to not take life too seriously.
Odelay!
