Susan Barbara Merryweather

Susan Barbara Merryweather passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, April 27, 2025. She is survived by her husband Rick, and sons Jared (Karen), Matthew, Kamron, and grandchildren Sidney, Karson, and Madison.

Susan was born January 23, 1961, and was a cherished daughter of the late Clair and Virginia Olsen, and sister to Stephen (Debra), Richard (Terry), Robert (DeLis), Alan (Elizabeth), Mark (Valerie), Douglas (Shauna), Linda (Mark) Orchard, Scott, Jeanette (Raul) Christensen, and Karen (Ryan) Cheever. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Marianne, and her brother-in-law Mark Orchard. She was a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Susan’s greatest joy was raising her three sons with her husband Rick and spoiling her grandchildren.

Susan worked as a Registered Nurse. She was an exceptional caregiver to many throughout her life. She was awarded Emergency Room Nurse of the year as a testament to her care and dedication to her patients.

Susan was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many callings in the Brigham City First Ward.

Susan was a champion of what she believed was right; she was compassionate and devoted. We will miss her dancing, her bright sense of humor, her sincerity and giving nature.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 2, 2025, at 11:30 am with a viewing from 9 -11:00 am at the Brigham City 1st Ward located at 236 East 100 South, Brigham City Utah. Interment will be in Brigham City Cemetery.
