Our loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Tina LouAnn Honsvick, passed away suddenly surrounded by her family on January 31, 2022.
She was born on June 8, 1955 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas to David Kaye and Julia Ann Anderson. She was later adopted by John Herbert Curfew when her mom remarried, and then lived in Corpus Christi, Utah and Tennessee. She graduated from Forrest High School in Chapel Hill Tennessee. After High School she joined the US Navy. Later in life, she graduated from Weber State University with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature.
While serving in the Navy, Tina met her first husband. They were married a few years. They had a daughter, Summer.
Next, she met Wilford Honsvick. They had two daughters, Leia and Sharon. They were married 41 years. They were sealed as a family in the Ogden, Utah LDS Temple.
Tina enjoyed baking, cross stitch, shopping, crocheting, and refinishing furniture.
Tina is preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Julie Hollopeter and Cassie Hunsaker.
She is survived by her children; Summer (Dan) Florence, Leia (John) Trapett, Sharon Honsvick; step-daughter, LaZann (Kurt) Eilander; 26 grandbabies; 8 great grandbabies; brothers, David and Joe Curfew; sisters, Leilani (Bryan) Thalman, Sarah (Brandon) Booth; brother-in-law, Allen Hollopeter.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, at 3:30pm. The family will greet friends from 3:00-3:30pm. Please wear bright colors to honor Tina.
