Wade Mcbride

March 22, 1965 — January 17, 2024

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Wade McBride, a man known for his contagious humor, quick wit, boundless love, and unyielding courage. Born in Emmett, Idaho on March 22, 1965, and resident of Nibley, Utah, Wade's life was a testament to the power of laughter, love, and resilience. He departed from us on January 17, 2024, leaving behind memories that will forever evoke smiles and warm hearts. As Mark Twain once said, "The human race has one really effective weapon, and that is laughter." Wade lived this truth, sharing his gift of humor with everyone he met. Wade was an accomplished welder, working in the fabrication industry before his retirement. His skill and precision were noted. Wade was advised to stop working because of physical limitations but he didn't let that stop him. Wade continued to work. But Wade's life was not only about work. Wade had a deep love for the outdoors, savoring every opportunity to go camping and shooting. He had a secret enjoyment for reading, often losing himself in a good book surrounded by the tranquility of the wilderness. His unique blend of rugged outdoorsmanship and intellect made him a fascinating individual to know and love. In the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson, "Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail." Wade certainly blazed his own trail, creating a vibrant life that was uniquely his own. Wade is survived by his loving father, Neal McBride; his cherished son, Zane (Danielle) McBride; and his devoted brother, Eric McBride. His loving mother, Donna McBride, preceded him in death. His legacy will continue to live on through the lives of those he loved and those who loved him. He was a loving son, a doting father, a loyal brother, and a friend to many. His unique spirit, radiant smile, and infectious laughter will be deeply missed but never forgotten. We invite you to share your fond memories and photos of Wade on his memorial page. With your contributions, we can create a fitting tribute to a man who lived life on his terms, who loved deeply, and who brought laughter and joy to all who knew him. Remember Wade McBride, not with sorrow, but with the laughter and love that he filled our lives with. A celebration of life will be held when the weather gets warmer and Wade can once again be taken to enjoy the great outdoors.
