William “Bill “Gordon Houser was born June 17, 1956 to Frank and Betty Houser in Pomona, California. Bill passed away unexpectedly on January 7, 2024 after a battle with cancer. Bill was born and raised in California moving to Mantua, Utah in his teens. Bill graduated from Box Elder High School and attended Weber State University and Utah State University. He currently held a CDL license. Bill worked in the aerospace and trucking industries.
While Bill never married, he lived a full and vibrant life with friends and family. Bill earned his commercial pilot’s license and enjoyed taking family members on plane rides and showing off the airplane he built. Bill spent his time very actively; he enjoyed camping, ATV riding and reading. Bill was an avid user of Ham radio. Bill was looking forward to retirement and spending time on the road and in the sun.
Bill is predeceased by his loving parents Frank and Betty Houser, his sister Margaret Grange and brother- in-law John Pinkston., niece Lisa Houser. Bill is survived by his family Jamie and Marilyn Houser , Frances Pinkston , John and Crystal Houser , David Houser , Liz and Robert Berrett, Merry and Rob Dehayes , many nieces and nephews as well as close friends Mike and Beth .
The family would like to thank Dr. Markeson and his staff at he Ogden Regional Cancer Center, and the staff at Intermountain IMC and home care for the care and support given to Bill and his family.
A celebration of life will be held on a future date.
