Brent and Lori Gillies purchased Gillies Funeral Chapel from Verl Peterson in 2001. Their business offers professional and caring staff dedicated to working with your family to provide assistance in selecting high quality and affordable funeral services. They help take care of arranging funeral services, obituaries, flowers, monuments or headstones, graveside services and cremations. They ensure that everything runs smoothly, and is done right so you can worry about more important things, like family and friends. One of their services they are most proud of is the after-care they provide to each family. This service is invaluable to the families as they navigate the paperwork burden that is associated with a death. They offer a free grief group to anyone. Gillies Funeral Chapel is an active partner with many organizations throughout the community. They sponsor many community events such as: Peach Days, Peach Queen Pageant, Boys and Girls Club, Summer Movie in the Park, Reindeer Games, Breakfast with Santa, the Rotary Club, Box Elder High School Musical Production, the Kiwanis Club, Women’s Golf Association, Brigham City Senior Center lunches, and more.
